Through its unique expertise, Eurojust supports, strengthens and improves the coordination of investigations and prosecutions among the competent judicial authorities of EU Member States in the fight against serious and organised cross-border crime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in the daily work of Eurojust. The trainee will be integrated into a dynamic unit at the heart of the Agency&#8217;s mission to strengthen judicial cooperation in the fight against serious cross-border crime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main tasks and responsibilities are anticipated to include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Research &amp; Analysis: Conducting legal and factual research on topics related to intellectual property crime, relevant EU and international legislation, case law and policies;.<\/li>\n<li>Project Support: Contributing to the preparation and follow-up of meetings, including drafting notes, summaries, and presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Document Drafting: Assisting in the drafting and proofreading of various documents, such as reports, briefings, and fact sheets, ensuring accuracy and clarity.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination &amp; Communication: Participating in internal as well as external meetings and assisting in communication and coordination tasks with National Members, other EU partners, networks\u00a0 and focus groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The applicant must:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union or of EU candidate countries. Exceptionally, nationals of third countries with a cooperation agreement or working arrangement with Eurojust3 may also be accepted, depending on budget availability;<\/li>\n<li>Be a recent university\/masters\/doctorate graduate, who, by the closing date for applications, has obtained a university\/ masters\/doctorate diploma;<\/li>\n<li>Have a very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level), the working language of Eurojust.<\/li>\n<li>Not have received more than six weeks of any kind of in-service training\/internship nor have worked or been employed in any capacity within a European Institution,body, office or agency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">General knowledge, qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Completed university degree in intellectual property law;<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and drafting skills and ability to organise information in a structured way;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take responsibility for specific areas of woork and see actions through to completion ensuring that the deadlines are met;<\/li>\n<li>Developed research skills and ability to search for, identify and summarize relevant information from court rulings;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular Word and Excel;<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude for team work in international multicultural environment, as well as cooperative and customer-oriented attitude;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken, the working language of Eurojust.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A monthly grant of 1.500\u20ac<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Place of traineeship<\/strong>: The Hague, The Netherlands<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Duration of traineeship<\/strong>: 11 months<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Starting date<\/strong>: 1 May 2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Deadline<\/strong>: 11 March 2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>For more information: <a href=\"https:\/\/eurojust.tal.net\/vx\/lang-en-GB\/mobile-0\/appcentre-1\/brand-4\/xf-060e6cfd03ce\/candidate\/so\/pm\/1\/pl\/3\/opp\/17-Traineeship-Intellectual-Property-Crime-26-EJ-TRN-07\/en-GB\">Eurojust<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eurojust is the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation.
