The internship will take place at the Europol premises in The Hague, The Netherlands. Based on the profile of the successful candidates, the intern will be allocated to one of the teams listed below:<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Corporate Law<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">This internship project focuses on practical application of Corporate Law matters in the context of an EU Agency, in particular, supporting implementation of public access project.\u00a0The assigned activities will include:<\/div>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Providing assistance in implementation of the new training regime on public access;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting research on application of corporate legislation, especially in the field of public access;<\/li>\n<li>Providing assistance in the preparation of correspondence and official meetings with internal and external stakeholders;<\/li>\n<li>Providing assistance in drafting notes, legal opinions and other documents;<\/li>\n<li>Any other related activities under the supervision of the internship supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Commercial Law<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The internship project focuses on supporting colleagues from all departments concerning innovation projects, model licensing terms and project agreements.\u00a0The assigned activities will include:<\/div>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Assisting with the development of compliance processes for AI Act implementation;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting research on EU legislation, especially in the fields impacting on Commercial Law (e.g. procurement, grants, intellectual property, IT and innovation), and on case law of the Court of Justice of the EU;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting preliminary assessment of open-source terms for Large Language Model (LLM) and datasets;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting preliminary assessment of commercial terms under supervision;<\/li>\n<li>Any other related activities under the supervision of the internship supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Management Board Secretariat (MBS)<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The internship project focuses on supporting Management Board Secretariat in the activities of the Management Board of Europol (MB) and its Working Groups (WGs):<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The assigned activities will include:<\/div>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regularly monitoring EU and international legislative and policy developments including case-law, identifying those developments that may be of relevance to the work of the Management (MB) and of its Working Groups (Corporate Matters\/WGCM and Information Management\/WGIM);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Contributing to the preparation of related documentation, such as briefing notes, summaries, correspondence in preparation for MB and WGs meetings;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Supporting the MB Secretariat in the preparation of meetings and their follow-up, both content-wise and organisationally;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Any other related activities under the supervision of the internship supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Be a national of a Member State of the European Union;<\/li>\n<li>Have reached the age of majority in their country of origin;<\/li>\n<li>Have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies or vocational training relevant for the tasks of Europol. Only diplomas issued by EU Member State authorities and diplomas recognised as equivalent by the relevant EU Member State bodies are accepted. If the main studies took place outside the European Union or at a non-EU establishment located within the European Union the candidate\u2019s qualification (hereinafter \u201cnon-EU diploma\u201d), must have been recognised by a body delegated officially for the purpose by one of the European Union Member States (such as a national Ministry of Education);<\/li>\n<li>Have very good knowledge of English, which is Europol\u2019s main language of internal communication, and a satisfactory knowledge (corresponding at least to B1 level of the Common European framework of reference for the level of languages) of another language of the European Union.<\/li>\n<li>Not have already for more than six weeks: Benefited from any kind of internship (formal or informal, paid or unpaid) within a European institution, agency or body (including Europol), or had any kind of employment within a European institution, agency or body (including Europol).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Benefits<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the period of internship, interns currently receive a\u00a0<strong>MONTHLY MAINTENANCE GRANT of 1.602 EUR,<\/strong>\u00a0serving the purpose to cover the costs of living in The Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Upon request, interns must be able to\u00a0<strong>provide invoices and receipts relating to living expenses incurred in the Netherlands<\/strong>\u00a0during their internship at Europol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>More information: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europol.europa.eu\/careers-procurement\/internships\/internship\/1007?mtm_campaign=internships-just-published-20260114&amp;utm_term=internships-just-published&amp;mtm_source=newsletter&amp;mtm_medium=email&amp;mtm_content=title&amp;mtm_group=vacancy\">Europol<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Europol is located in The Hague, The Netherlands, and its mission is to support EU Member States in preventing and combating all forms of serious international and organized crime, cybercrime and terrorism.
