{"id":164173,"date":"2025-12-15T03:00:01","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T02:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/?p=164173"},"modified":"2025-12-12T12:09:50","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T11:09:50","slug":"phd-arts-and-culture-and-computer-sciences-france","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/phd-arts-and-culture-and-computer-sciences-france\/","title":{"rendered":"PhD &#8211; Arts and culture and computer sciences &#8211; France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/7-Heritage-Sites-1.jpg\" width=\"566\" height=\"318\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Use of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Creating Cultural Creative Touristic Destinations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The present research proposal focuses on the contribution that the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) might have in the process of co-creation specific to creative tourism, as well as on developing new tools to monitor and to assess the contribution of ICH in the touristic destinations development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This PhD position is part of the\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Cultural Heritage Outreach in RomAnce Languages (CHORAL) programme, a Horizon Europe Marie Sk\u0142odowska Curie programme co-funded by the European Union. This prestigious programme is linked to UNITA&#8217;s Cultural Heritage Hub, an international research network within the Alliance, which structures its research ecosystem facing cultural related challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">CHORAL aims to train high-quality international researchers and to nurture the development of interdisciplinary, international and inter-sectoral research that addresses any aspect of cultural heritage. While rooted in cultural heritage,\u00a0<strong>the programme spans a wide range of scientific domains<\/strong>, including architecture, anthropology, arts and culture, computer science, history, literature, linguistics, management, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Selected candidates will be enrolled in PhD programmes under joint supervision, awarding a\u00a0<strong>double degree<\/strong>\u00a0and requiring\u00a0<strong>international mobility<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">This offer is part of the MSCA-COFUND CHORAL programme, which will finance 14 positions out of 20 positions offered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The candidate must be a doctoral candidate, i.e not already in possession of a doctoral degree, but in possession of a Master\u2019s Degree enabling to do a PhD in Social Science, Arts, Architecture and Humanities applied to cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting beneficiary for more than 12 months in the 3 years preceding the date of the call deadline.
