They may be remunerated (1600\u00a0\u20ac\/month) or non-remunerated depending on the budgetary appropriations available.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 3\u00a0sessions will cover the following periods:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; from 1 March to 31 July of the same calendar year;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; from 1 May to 30 September of the same calendar year;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; from 1 October of one calendar year until 28 (29) February of the next.<\/p>\n<p>They offer different traineeship programmes. The eligibility criteria and the allowance may differ from one to the other.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Standard traineeships<\/strong>: traineeships to university students and graduates in fields of study relevant to our work. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to spend 6 months in Luxembourg making a real contribution to our work and helping the EU to operate more effectively. (During your traineeship, you will receive an allowance of \u20ac1 600 per month.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Traineeships in artificial intelligence (AI)<\/strong>: traineeships in AI to recent university graduates and doctoral students in the fields of AI, computer science, data science, information technology, or similar disciplines. Successful candidates will gain valuable first-hand work experience at an EU institution by contributing to projects in AI and similar areas. (During your traineeship, you will receive an allowance of \u20ac2 500 per month)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive Action Programme for trainees with a disability<\/strong>: additional pathway for those with long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory impairments. (During your traineeship, you will receive an allowance of \u20ac2 000 per month.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Traineeships &#8211; SAI in EU candidate countries<\/strong>: traineeships to auditors from candidate countries\u2019 supreme audit institutions (SAIs). These traineeships provide hands-on experience of European integration and of how an EU institution works in practice on a day-to-day basis. This experience should help these SAIs in their preparations for EU accession. (During your traineeship, you will receive an allowance of \u20ac1 800 per month.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eligible applicants must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union;<\/li>\n<li>have completed at least four semesters of university study in an area of interest to the Court;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0have not already benefited from a traineeship at any EU institution or body;<\/li>\n<li>have a thorough knowledge of one official language of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of at least a second one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selected candidates must provide a declaration from their national authorities stating they have a clean criminal record and a medical certificate certifying that they are physically fit to perform their tasks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Deadline: <\/strong>30 November 2025<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>More information: <a href=\"https:\/\/programmes.eurodesk.eu\/eu#19634-eu\">Eurodesk<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Court of Auditors organises three traineeship sessions per year in areas of interest to its work.
