The tasks will involve studying changes in the behaviour and physiology of marine predators driven by post-release stress from surface longline fishing. Preference will be given to candidates with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience in processing and analyzing telemetry data (using specific software such as IGOR);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience in describing behaviour and physiology of marine predators;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Knowledge of programming (e.g., R);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Knowledge of using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience collaborating with international teams;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Fluency in English;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Good communication skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The candidate should be able to work well within a team and possess troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\u00a0The candidate must present a CV compatible with the work plan<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Monthly stipend is \u20ac<span lang=\"EN-GB\">1 259,64\u00a0<\/span>according to the stipends established by FCT, I.P. in Portugal<span lang=\"EN-GB\">.\u00a0<\/span>Payment will be made by bank transfer every month.
