Among these, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) sensors play a pivotal role in future applications. They are compact, highly sensitive, and versatile, catering to a broad range of applications such as biosensors, environmental monitoring or inertial sensors. However, enhancing MEMS sensors performance often involves increasing their cost or the complexity of their electronics.
