Finland was the exception, with a slightly higher rate among people with a medium education level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-145628 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123.png 1920w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123-1280x720.png 1280w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/subjective-poverty-201123-1536x864.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"ecl-u-type-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the EU countries, Greece had the highest share of people with a low education level (four fifths; 81.6%) considered poor. This was followed by Bulgaria (67.9%) and Slovakia (53.3%). The lowest numbers were registered in Finland (7.3%), Luxembourg (10.0%) and Sweden (11.3%).<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecl-u-type-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most of the EU members reported significant differences between high and low-educated population groups. The difference was at least 20\u00a0<a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/statistics-explained\/index.php?title=Glossary:Percentage_point#:~:text=The%20term%20percentage%20point%20is,increased%20by%202%20percentage%20points.\">percentage points (pp)<\/a>\u00a0in 12 countries.
