With the aim of implementing sustainable and eco-innovative practices in Ecuador for SMEs and\/or associations that support environmentally responsible production, consumption and integrated solid waste management based on the principles of the circular economy, the “Al-Invest Verde Chapter Ecuador” project was presented.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the objective of implementing sustainable and eco-innovative practices in Ecuador for SMEs and\/or associations that support environmentally responsible production, consumption, and integrated solid waste management based on the principles of the circular economy, the “Al-Invest Verde chapter Ecuador” project, co-financed by the European Union, was presented and will be implemented by the Ecuadorian Federation of Exporters (FedeXpor).<\/p>\n

Al-Invest Verde will last 24 months and is aimed at the agri-food, textile and wood sectors throughout the country that are carrying out sustainable actions with a high degree of circularity.<\/p>\n

In the presentation Felipe Ribadeneira, Executive President of fedeXpor expressed, we are proud to have the confidence of the European Union to be part from Ecuador in the implementation of Al Invest Verde, this program will generate sustainable growth and employment with gender equity with a view to exporting to the European Union, the importance that some years ago the Federation has given to the implementation of projects generating business culture, transferring skills and resources for the benefit of companies, eliminating social differences that have our countries, and supporting the transition to a low carbon economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Medina, Head of Cooperation of the European Union in Ecuador, highlighted Al-Invest was born 25 years ago and is currently running its sixth edition in Latin America, FedeXpor is an essential ally, the Federation has worked for the benefit of SMEs and has nurtured skills and tools in the awareness and care of the environment. Supported by these programs, we hope to be carbon neutral by 2050.<\/p>\n

SMEs are fundamental actors for the sustainable development of economies due to their high potential to respond to market needs, generate employment and allow access to better living conditions. AL-INVEST Verde manages funds to finance projects that seek to benefit SMEs and expand their possibilities to trade under EU standards, giving them a competitive advantage.<\/p>\n

Throughout its implementation, the program will provide training, technical assistance, circularity and sustainability diagnostics, trade promotion activities, B2B events, fairs, trade missions, networking and other actions to contribute to their productivity and competitiveness.<\/p>\n

Al-Invest Verde, Ecuador chapter, seeks to promote a more committed, friendly and environmentally responsible production in companies, with efficiency indexes in production, employment generation, strengthening their production and exporting more.<\/p>\n

Interested SMEs will be able to register from June 15 at www.fedexpor.com.<\/p>\n
