100vw, 623px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Youth Sounding Board (YSB) is a space for young people to advise the Commissioner and the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) on youth participation and empowerment in EU external action on topics such as:<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/climate-environment-and-energy_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Climate, environment and energy<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/digital-and-infrastructure_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Digital and\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/digital-and-infrastructure_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">infrastructure<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/gender-equality_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gender equality<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/human-development_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Human development<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/migration-and-forced-displacement_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Migration and forced displacement<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/peace-and-governance_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Peace and governance<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/sustainable-growth-and-jobs_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sustainable growth and jobs<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Youth Sounding Board will be composed of 25 young people from across the world (EU and non-EU countries), \u00a0with practical experience in youth participation processes, youth policies, or engaged in youth organisations and\/or youth-led initiatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">YSB members will, among others:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">be involved in the implementation and dissemination of the EU Youth Action Plan<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">discuss and contribute to ad-hoc issues or requests build links with similar structures and existing youth initiatives at international, regional, and country levels, both in the EU and in the partner countries<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">take part in capacity-building activities in relation to their mandate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eligible participants should\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">be between the age of 18-30 (by 26 April 2023);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">be available to devote at least 25 days per year to the YSB<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">have a good command of English;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">hold the nationality of or be a resident in one of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/international-partnerships.ec.europa.eu\/policies\/youth\/youth-sounding-board_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">eligible countries<\/a>\u00a0(from Africa, Asia, the Pacific, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Candidates can apply individually or be nominated by an organisation.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How much time<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Youth Sounding Board members will commit for two years, for about 25 days a year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They will have at least three meetings per year, both in person in Brussels and virtually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is an unpaid mandate.
