The action is anchored in the policy framework of the Culture strand of the Creative Europe programme and its cross-cutting issues (inclusiveness, reduction of environmental impact and gender equality). European cooperation projects are also designed to contribute to the implementation of emerging EU policy initiatives such as the New European Bauhaus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">European cooperation projects are open to all the cultural and creative sectors. However, considering that this action aims to pursue the objectives of the CULTURE strand of the programme, projects involving exclusively organisations from the audio-visual sector and projects of an exclusive audiovisual content are not targeted for funding under it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Topic CREA-CULT-2023-COOP-1 &#8211;\u00a0<u>Small-scale projects<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>The\u00a0<u>consortium<\/u>\u00a0most be composed of minimum 3 entities from 3 different eligible countries.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The\u00a0<u>maximum EU grant amount<\/u>\u00a0is of EUR 200 000 per project.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The\u00a0<u>funding rate<\/u>\u00a0is of maximum 80%<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Small-scale projects are particularly suitable to promote the access of grassroots organisations and support them in the creation of new partnerships and development of new activities and innovative ideas, such as festivals, art fairs, exhibitions, performances, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Support will be given to cooperation projects contributing to one of the following\u00a0<strong>objectives<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Objective 1 &#8211; Transnational creation and circulation:<\/strong>\u00a0to strengthen the transnational\u00a0<u>creation<\/u>\u00a0and circulation of European works and artists;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective 2\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0<strong>Innovation:<\/strong>\u00a0to enhance the capacity of European cultural and creative sectors to nurture talents, to\u00a0<u>innovate<\/u>, to prosper and to generate jobs and growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to contributing to the objectives referred to above, projects shall<strong>\u00a0address at least one<\/strong>\u00a0(and no more than two)\u00a0<strong>of the following priorities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong><u>Audience<\/u><\/strong>: to increase cultural access to and participation in culture as well as audience engagement and development both physically and digitally;<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Social inclusion:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0to promote societal resilience and to enhance social inclusion in\/through culture in particular of\/for people with disabilities, people belonging to minorities and people belonging to socially marginalised groups, as well as intercultural dialogue;<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Sustainability:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0in line with the European Green Deal and the New European Bauhaus, to co-create, adopt and disseminate more environment-friendly practices, as well as to raise awareness on sustainable development through cultural activities;<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Digital<\/u><\/strong>: to help the European cultural and creative sectors to undertake or accelerate their digital transition, also as a response to the COVID-19 crisis;<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>International dimension<\/u><\/strong>: to build the capacity within the European cultural and creative sectors, including grass-roots organisations and micro-organisations, to be active at the international level \u2013 in Europe and beyond;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Further to these priorities,\u00a0<strong><u>annual sector-specific priorities<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0for the following sectors have been defined to reinforce the programme\u2019s sectoral approach:<strong>\u00a0cultural heritage, music, book and publishing, architecture, fashion and design, sustainable cultural tourism<\/strong>. These priorities are based on political dialogues and stakeholders\u2019 consultations such as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/culture.ec.europa.eu\/cultural-and-creative-sectors\/music\/music-moves-europe\">Music Moves Europe<\/a>\u00a0Initiative or the experiences of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, and respond to identified shared needs in those cultural and creative sectors whose specific challenges require a more targeted approach. Indicatively 20% of the budget allocated to this action will be used to support projects addressing these sector-specific activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>6. Annual sector-specific priority\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong>(for the sectors of\u00a0<\/strong><strong>cultural heritage, music, book and publishing, architecture, fashion and design, sustainable cultural tourism)<\/strong>: capacity building and training activities (and other skills development activities such as mentoring, peer learning, networking, etc.) specific to the sectors mentioned above. The objective of this priority is to foster talents and enhance the entrepreneurial and professional development capacities of artists and professionals, of the concerned sectors to adapt to new creative processes, business models and market developments, and to embrace digital and green transition.
