HR\/VP will also deliver a speech at the IV EU-Uruguay Investment Forum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Argentina, HR\/VP Borrell will meet Foreign Affairs Minister Santiago Cafiero\u00a0<u>on 25 October<\/u>(press remarks planned\u00a0<u>at 16:30<\/u>\u00a0+\/-), and later that day President Alberto Fernandez.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 99.9988%; border-collapse: collapse; border-style: double; border-color: #001f7d;\" cellpadding=\"0,5\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/new-european-union-program-for-latin-american-companies-al-invest-verde\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/student-849826_1920.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"134\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"entry-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/new-european-union-program-for-latin-american-companies-al-invest-verde\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New European Union program for Latin American companies: AL-INVEST Verde<br \/>\n<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>On 26 October<\/u>, HR\/VP will attend the Ministerial meeting of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and have several bilateral meetings with Foreign Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States member countries. On the same day, he will also meet Vice President Cristina Fern\u00e1ndez de Kirchner.\u00a0<u>On 27 October<\/u>, HR\/VP will co-chair the third meeting of EU-CELAC Foreign Ministers together with Argentina&#8217;s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Santiago Andres Cafiero, as pro-tempore President of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC). It is the first meeting in this format since 2018. Ministers will discuss ways to strengthen the EU-LAC partnership including through high-level events on shared thematic priorities leading to a bi-regional Summit of Heads of State and Government to take place in 2023. A press point in the context of the CELAC meeting is planned that day.
