The initial appointment will be made on a 2- or 3-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement, with a career progression path for promotion (Lecturer &gt; Senior Lecturer &gt; Associate Professor (Educator Track) &gt; Professor).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants for the position should minimally possess a M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, preferably with an official DELE examiner certification, at least three years of experience in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language preferably at the tertiary level and the development of Spanish language curriculum at any level, and demonstrate proficiency in the use of IT in teaching.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The appointee\u2019s duties will include teaching, curriculum development, module coordination as well as administrative duties. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Relocation, leave, medical and housing benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable NUS regulations. A brief cover letter in English and Spanish) highlighting the applicant\u2019s major accomplishments in teaching; 2. A complete curriculum vitae (including the contact information of at least two academic referees and a copy of relevant educational certs, transcripts and DELE examiner certification, if applicable); 3. A teaching philosophy statement (2000 words max.) in English and Spanish providing the applicant\u2019s reflection on his\/her educational approach; 4. Recent official student evaluations; 5. A representative sample of self-developed lesson plans and materials; 6.
