The payments made by the Commission under the RRM are performance-based and depend on Spain&#8217;s implementation of the investments and reforms outlined in <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/business-economy-euro\/recovery-coronavirus\/recovery-and-resilience-facility\/spains-recovery-and-resilience-plan_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spain<\/a>&#8216;s recovery and resilience plan.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 99.9988%; border-collapse: collapse; border-style: double; border-color: #001f7d;\" cellpadding=\"0,5\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/paquete-de-procedimientos-de-infraccion-de-mayo-de-la-comision-europea-contra-espana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/spain-4605647_1920-768x511.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"134\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"entry-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/european-commissions-may-infringement-proceedings-package-against-spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Commission\u2019s May infringement proceedings package against Spain<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 30 April, Spain submitted to the Commission a first request for payment of \u20ac12 billion under the RRM in 40 steps covering various reforms in the areas of green and just transition, labour market, pensions, regulated professions, digital connectivity and R&amp;D. In addition, this support will go to other areas such as health, education, support for vulnerable groups, entrepreneurship and micro-enterprises, prevention of tax fraud, green taxation and efficient and sustainable public spending.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Spain&#8217;s overall recovery and resilience plan will be financed with \u20ac69.5 billion in grants. The amounts of payments to Member States are published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/economy_finance\/recovery-and-resilience-scoreboard\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Recovery and Resilience Scoreboard<\/a>, which shows progress in implementing the MRRF as a whole and the individual recovery and resilience plans.
