To achieve its objectives, the group has established\u00a0<strong>operational camps in Syria<\/strong>\u00a0that provide<strong>\u00a0terrorist training\u00a0<\/strong>to its members. Several\u00a0<strong>European foreign terrorist fighters<\/strong>\u00a0have joined the group\u2019s ranks since its creation.<\/p>\n<p>Through propaganda activities, the sanctioned group and individuals have also played a key role in promoting Al-Qaeda&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>violent jihadist ideology<\/strong>\u00a0and in\u00a0<strong>inciting terrorist acts\u00a0<\/strong>in support of Al-Qaeda. Hurras al-Din and its two leaders therefore pose a serious and continued threat to the EU and to regional and international stability.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 99.9988%; border-collapse: collapse; border-style: double; border-color: #001f7d;\" cellpadding=\"0,5\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/petitions-committee-votes-on-report-to-investigate-eta-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/20191112_ep-095291a_tro_265.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"201\" height=\"134\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"entry-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/petitions-committee-votes-on-report-to-investigate-eta-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Petitions Committee votes on report to investigate ETA crimes<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>With these new measures, a total of\u00a0<strong>ten persons\u00a0<\/strong>will now be subject to a\u00a0<strong>travel ban\u00a0<\/strong>and an\u00a0<strong>asset freeze<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>three groups\u00a0<\/strong>to an asset freeze. In addition, EU persons and entities will be forbidden from making funds or economic resources available to listed persons and groups.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s decision confirms the\u00a0<strong>EU\u2019s unwavering resolve to combat the enduring terrorist threat<\/strong> posed by Al-Qaeda, ISIL\/Da\u2019esh, and all their regional affiliates.
