The European Year of Youth 2022 is the theme of the coupon that ONCE will dedicate to Europe Day on 9 May. Five million coupons will be distributed, following the collaboration agreement signed between the ONCE Social Group and the European Parliament.<\/p>\n

The coupon was presented on 3rd May at the European Parliament Office in Spain, in a ceremony attended by the Vice-President for Institutional Coordination, Solidarity and External Relations of the ONCE, Alberto Dur\u00e1n<\/strong>; the Director of the European Parliament Office in Spain, Mar\u00eda Andr\u00e9s<\/strong>, and the Head of Communication of the European Commission Representation in Spain, Juan Gonz\u00e1lez Mellizo.<\/p>\n

2022 is the European Year of Youth<\/a>, which focuses on the importance of European youth in building a better future<\/strong>: greener, more inclusive and digital.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One of the objectives is to renew the positive outlook for young people, and to highlight how the green and digital transition and other EU policies offer opportunities for young people and society at large. In addition, it aims to support young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, to acquire knowledge and skills and to become active and engaged citizens.<\/p>\n

Young people will also be supported to better understand and actively promote the various opportunities<\/strong> available to them, whether at EU, national, regional or local level, to support their personal, social, economic and professional development. In addition, it aims to mainstream youth policy into relevant policy areas of the Union, to encourage the youth perspective to be incorporated into policy-making at all levels.<\/p>\n

Europe Day, which takes place every year on 9 May, celebrates peace and unity on the European continent<\/strong>.\u00a0The date is the anniversary of the historic declaration by Robert Schuman<\/strong>, the French foreign minister who, in a speech in Paris in 1950, set out his idea of a new form of political cooperation in Europe that would make a new war between European nations unthinkable. Schuman’s proposal is seen as the beginning of what is now the European Union and celebrations have been held every 9 May ever since.<\/p>\n

The European institutions are marking this day in the calendar with various activities, including this collaboration with ONCE to illustrate the coupon for 9 May with motifs that are important for the European Union.<\/p>\n

The ONCE Daily Coupon offers a prize of 500,000 euros<\/strong> to the number plus the series, and 49 prizes of 35,000 euros to the five digits of the winning number. In addition: 450 prizes of 250 euros for the first four digits and another 450 prizes for the last four digits; 9,000 prizes of 25 euros for the last three or first three digits; and the same for the first two and last two digits (6 euros), and a 2-euro refund for the first or last digit of the winning number.<\/p>\n

ONCE coupons are sold by more than 19,000 ONCE salesmen and saleswomen<\/strong>. They can also be purchased from www.juegosonce.es<\/a>, and in authorised collaborating establishments.<\/p>\n
